What do the letters "DRAC" mean?
DRAC is an acronym for Downtown Residents' Association of Columbus.

What is DRAC?
DRAC is a non-profit, membership organization comprised of residents, businesses, and others dedicated to promoting downtown as a great place to live, work and play.

What are the downtown boundaries?
The boundaries of it are I-670 to the north, I-70 to the south, I-71 to the east and the Scioto River to the west.

When do your monthly meetings occur?
Our monthly meetings are scheduled on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30PM. Meetings are held at a different location each month. Food and drinks are provided.

Do I have to live downtown to be apart of the organization?
Not at all. DRAC membership is open to everyone regardless of where they reside.

How do I become a DRAC member? Becoming a DRAC member is easy. First pick the membership type  (individual, business, or board) the register online through PayPal
or in person at one of our monthly meetings.

What do I get with my membership?
Paid members get access to exclusive member-only events, extra member discounts, the ability to vote during the annual meeting, and additional member-only services throughout the year.

What is my email used for?
Email addresses will only be used to communicate upcoming events and updates. They are not shared with third parties. 

Is DRAC politically affiliated?
No. DRAC is a non-partisan organization.  

Are there leadership opportunities available?
Yes. There are several leadership opportunities, such as serving on our board, committee or on one of the several task forces set up throughout the year.

WHAT IS DRAC ALL ABOUT?
The creation of the Downtown Residents' Association of Columbus (DRAC) grew out of a group project of the 2003 Class of Leadership Columbus and made its debut on July 21, 2003 at the CityHop Tour of downtown homes.

DRAC is a non-profit organization comprised of downtown residents, urban partners, and other Columbus residents who have an interest in the ongoing development of our community. DRAC promotes downtown Columbus as a viable place to live, work, and play.

Monthly meetings are open to everyone and are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 630pm. Its a great way to meet other downtown residents, get tuned-in to the newest developments, and get involved with other like-minded individuals that seek to build a strong community of neighbors and businesses.
